Pharmacy technicians
- Register with the NM Board of Pharmacy. Forms are available at https://www.rld.nm.gov/boards-and-commissions/individual-boards-and-commissions/pharmacy/pharmacy-applications-and-forms/
- You must be nationally certified or become certified within a year of registering.
Pharmacy technician certification is done through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- A CPhT must renew his or her license every two years. Some of the renewal requirements have changed in the past few years so check the PTCB website for current requirements.
