Pharmacist Learning Objectives:  Upon completion of this knowledge-based program, participants will be able to:  1)  Outline the morbidity, mortality, and economic burden of adult vaccine preventable diseases in the U.S.; 2)   Explain the adult immunization coverage rates and detail the barriers to adult immunizations and 3)   Define the current and changing landscape for adult immunizations and identify strategies to improve coverage rates to include the new herpes zoster immunization.



The New Mexico Pharmacists Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  This knowledge-based program provides 1.0 contact hour or 0.1 CEU of continuing pharmacy education credit.  The program is designed for pharmacists and related health care providers.  NMPhA will input CPE credits into the CPE Monitor System within 60 days of the program to attendees who have paid the registration fee + successfully completed a Program Evaluation Form.
