This training program will meet the requirements for a ONE HOUR LIVE IMMUNIZATION FOLLOW-UP CE required by pharmacists & pharmacy technicians to complete each year in order to keep their Immunization Certification current.

Upon completion of this application-based program, participants will be able to:

Pharmacist Objectives:  

1)  Apply ACIP updated immunization practices and schedule changes; 2)  Relate ACP guidance and explanation of prescribing notes; 3)  Apply ACIP addendum, appendix, review and legend update and 4)  Review RSV, Meningococcal, Pneumococcal, and Mpox vaccine updated case applications.

Pharmacy Technician Objectives:  

1)  Apply ACIP updated immunization practices and administration images; 2)  Relate ACP guidance and explanation of the ACIP schedule and notes and 3)  Review New and updated vaccine case applications.

The New Mexico Pharmacists Association (NMPhA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program provides 1.0 contact hour or 0.1 CEUs of continuing pharmacy education credit. The program is designed for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.  ACPE Universal Activity Number 0104-0000-24-037-L06-P/T has been assigned to this live application-based CE activity.  Completion of the evaluation is required to receive CE credit.  NMPhA will submit the CPE credits into CPE Monitor within 30 days based on the information provided on evaluation form.
