By the end of this presentation, pharmacists will be able to:

1) Identify pathophysiology of HPV vaccine;

2) Identify epidemiology and ACIP recommendations for HPV vaccine;

3) Identify the pharmacist role in HPV vaccine and vaccine discussions;

4) Identify gaps in HPV vaccination rates in NM amongst adolescents and

5) Utilize interprofessional education/panel to increase knowledge and
HPV vaccination rates in NM.

1) Identify definition of HPV vaccine and mechanism of action;

2) Identify epidemiology and expert recommendations for HPV vaccine;            

3) Identify the pharmacy role in HPV vaccine and vaccine discussions;   

4) Identify gaps in HPV vaccination rates in NM amongst adolescents and               

5) Describe the roles of other health care providers in HPV.

The New Mexico Pharmacists Association is accredited by the
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
(ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy
education. The ACPE Universal Activity Number
